Sure You can find a USB thumb drive that is very low capacity .
This method will force format configure it to sub 256 MB , even if it is of a higher capacity. ( not to worry the USB stick's full capacity can be recovered).
Because I used an older 256 MB to create it , hence the image would be 256MB as well.
Later if you want to restore the Stick to it original capacity .. ask me how to.
Well obviously this works only for newer Hardware.
That has to have native ( Bios ) USB stick Boot capability for this to work.
